But half of lost ark player base jsut want to get bussed anyway so they don't care. There's definitely an issue with how paladins are generally perceived. No argument that it's an easy class to play, because it's straightforward but that does't necessarily make it boring. It was an OP class where both dealers and supporters were possible, but it was nerfed 4 times in a row. Despite this, it is still very popular in endgame. Lost Ark's endgame is full of death. Therefore, the Gunlancer with the highest survivability (defense + stamina) is a very popular class in the party. Artillerist isn't really that ranged. I play close/mid. Very high stagger and destruction. Need good knowledge of mechanics due to attack delays. But I've played all the classes and I have the most fun playing the Artillerist. It is slow to level up and the class doesn't get fluid till t3. Coming into lost ark this is the class i wanted to play the most. She didn’t disappoint one bit and exceeds my expectations. Like the screen just blows up playing sorc. Blade was really fun going in and out of combat. Soulfist is a pretty challenging class to play optimally and the two builds require different skillsets to pilot so when I have the resources I'll definitely set-up a robust spirit gearset for fun. I play close/mid. Very high stagger and destruction. Need good knowledge of mechanics due to attack delays. But I've played all the classes and I have the most fun playing the Artillerist. It is slow to level up and the class doesn't get fluid till t3.IMO after trying half the classes in the game, Surge Blade is by far the most fun spec in Lost Ark. Obviously Surging for huge damage is fun, plus the class is pretty mobile and the animations and sounds are, subjectively, pretty nice.My favourite class is arcanist, but it's not really a good choice for a new player. Very investment heavy and takes quite a bit of practice to pilot it. Personally, I'd suggest picking a DPS class as your first for the story, getting to Punika and then boosting a support with the Punika pass.The Space Bar is faster, the skill animations arent nearly as clunky. I'm still having fun playing the Arti, but you can definitely feel the difference, lol. I was gonna make a blade next. I got one, level 37 i think or something, but compared to my sorcerer, i don't know, feels less "fun". Blue gunlancer! Probably gunslinger. Seems super fun and engaging, and has a skill ceiling high enough that you can sink time into and constantly get better. I never really played dps in most MMOs since I like being invited to parties. If by flashy you mean visual effects, then most flashy class in soulfist, by far. DBZ inspired class after all. So try to level it up to 50, nothing is flashier in this game. If by flashy you mean fast, agile class that has to do flashy moves and outplays, that's reaper, but reaper isn't released on AGS servers yet. Soulfist is a pretty challenging class to play optimally and the two builds require different skillsets to pilot so when I have the resources I'll definitely set-up a robust spirit gearset for fun.
